

RDAF-KU06 Ku-Band Low-Altitude Surveillance Radar
This radar serves as a low-altitude early warning and reconnaissance device operating in the Ku-band. It utilizes a Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) pulse system paired with a wide-angle frequency-scanning (freq-scan) waveguide antenna.
The system achieves full airspace coverage by combining frequency scanning in the elevation dimension with mechanical scanning in the azimuth dimension. By replacing expensive phased-array scanning with frequency-scanning technology in the elevation plane, this radar offers an exceptionally high performance-to-cost ratio.
